Apostolic School of Theology asked me to help move their brand forward with a fresh take on their marketing materials. The first order of task was to develop letterhead, business cards, and envelopes. I took their seal logo and simplified it down to the sword and bible; this was done so it could be used as a design element in their materials. The business card uses that simplified logo as a watermark on the front and a graphic element on the back. The tagline was developed to help push the purpose of AST. The bar that contains the tagline leads into the logo, showing that the way to start your future is through AST.
The second task was to develop a brochure/mailer for AST's Challenge Week. To keep with the simplified version of the logo, simple geometric shapes were used to promote key phrases and information. The gold color from the seal was really pushed here to give the brochure a feeling of dynamism. The purpose of the mailer was to promote the event and give a basic schedule of events.
